Step 3: Ground the Body

The sun rises over the city. Rooftops glow. The air moves slowly. For the first time in a while, your body isn’t bracing.

Trauma bonds aren’t broken by willpower. They loosen when the nervous system learns safety.

Nervous system truth: Safety must be felt to be believed. When the body settles, attachment loosens naturally.
