Gaslighting: You’re Not Crazy. You’re Being Conditioned.

They told you it’s in your head. They insisted you misheard, misremembered, misunderstood. You weren’t confused—you were being controlled.

Gaslighting is a weapon designed to erase your memory and replace it with theirs. They rewrite the scene, and suddenly you’re left doubting your own senses. That’s not an accident—it’s the point. Doubt becomes the cage they keep you in.

But here’s the truth: your body remembers. Your spirit remembers. And the first act of rebellion is to write down what really happened—because their script doesn’t get to be the final word. This is where healing begins: by reclaiming the story that belongs to you.

You are not broken for questioning yourself. You were targeted. And now you are rising. Every fact you capture, every line you refuse to debate, every ally you trust—that’s you shattering the illusion of their control. This is the work of warriors, and you’re already doing it.

Do this today (10–15 minutes each):

  • Start a Truth Log — date, time, what happened, exact words, how your body felt; keep it in one folder.
  • Rehearse this line: “I won’t debate my reality. We can discuss facts or end this conversation.”
  • Collect receipts — screenshot texts/emails, save with timestamps, and label filenames with “GL-”.
  • Ping one ally: “Can I sanity-check something? Here’s what happened vs. what was said.”

Journal prompts:

  • When the incident happened, what did my body feel first?
  • What are the facts versus their narrative?
  • One boundary I will enforce this week is…
